Duolingo doesn't teach Georgian. Here's what does.

No — as of 2026, Duolingo has no Georgian course, and none has been announced. If you searched “Duolingo Georgian,” you probably already suspected that. The good news: Georgian has dedicated courses built by people who focus on this one language.

Big platforms add languages by expected learner volume. Georgian — a Kartvelian language with its own alphabet and a verb system unlike anything in Europe — serves a smaller, more committed audience: people moving to Georgia, partners of Georgians, heritage learners. Smaller audience, higher bar. That is exactly who specialist courses are built for.

• Teaches sentences, not just word lists — Georgian verbs change form with person, tense and direction, and vocabulary alone won’t get you to a reply.
• Real audio you can slow down and repeat.
