Why sentences, not word lists

A Georgian verb changes by person, tense and direction, so knowing a list of words isn’t enough to answer even a simple question. That’s why tqvi teaches through sentences. Each lesson brings a few new words, always inside sentences made of words you already know, so you see how Georgian fits together and not only what individual words mean.

Listen in two voices, reveal the translation and pronunciation only when you need them, and come back to what you’ve learned in a separate repetition section. No games, no streaks: just listening, reading and saying it aloud.
